i always think of whats going on in peoples lives, i find it entertaining, but that comment about actually talking with them???? whats that all about? i don't speak to them because they will end up being boring people, and my fantasy fake life i have created for them is ruined.
shame on you!
Mother Fucker, be very careful who you follow, they might end up to be a Jeffery Dahmer, just yearning for the next play thing to come around - and feed their hunger.
Yessss and you begin to think about how its so cool that youve entered someones life in such tiny ways, by like seeing them, or something.

AI bots are getting sophisticated enough for Dating sites and are starting to be used for political and religious influence. At first, I thought it plausible that Clunk was just prototype AI. I no longer think this.
Moderate versions of religion that promote qualities like a sense of community and a moral code that fosters ethical behavior can help many people. But fundamental religious ideologies can act as mental parasites. In Clunk's case, he sites dangerous logical fallacies [particularly one known as "Denying the Antecedent"] to cancel analytical thought and reaffirm what ever intuitive feel-good notions he finds comforting thru magical thinking.
Clunk is not first to have ideological viruses and mental parasites alter his brain. When a fundamentalist ideology inhabits a host brain, the organism’s mind is no longer fully in control. The ideology is controlling its behavior and reasoning processes to propagate itself and sustain its survival. This analogy should inform how we approach efforts that attempt to reverse brainwashing and restore cognitive function in areas like analytic reasoning and problem-solving.
An excellent article in Psychology Today discusses this issue. I found it to be thoughtful and well written. In any case, charli.m is spot on. We have a robot right here at IIN.
