is it normal to get random erections? even when im not horny or thinking about something that turns me on, i sometimes get erections... i find it annoying at times when im around people

It happens to me, too. I like to wear boxers with my gym shorts because the combination is so comfortable. The only problem is that I can't hide it if I get a boner. Sometimes when I'm walking through a store shopping, I'll feel Junior starting to grow down my right leg. The outline of my dick can be fairly obvious. If it's just a semi, no worries. If I get really hard, my gym shorts will tent. I'll stop walking until Junior calms down.
It's normal. Penises tend to have a mind of their own. If it didn't decide to pop up every so often the parts might not be working :P
