    Beastie Boys for sure. How many hits do they have?? And they're STILL around. Very talented, they are probably my all time favorite band.

          Seen them live twice and not one has ever played an instrument. I guess technically they can "play" but studio musicians do the heavy lifting.

    I like 3 or 4 songs by both bands. I can't happily listen to a whole album though. Rage especially get tedious.

    Both bands had some alright songs, but Rage Against The Machine were better for their political beliefs than their music. I don't hate The Beastie Boys, but they're far from my preferred sort of Rap.

      System Of A Down are good, but they are not the same genre as Beastie Boys and Rage and shouldn't be compared

        rage against the machine isn't even the same genre comparison as beastie boys. at least not in my opinion. I figured though that RATM is more so political like SOAD. The beasties didn't get so political till around or after 'intergalactic planetary'.
        and technically you could put soad, ratm,and even beastie boys on the same playlist. Might i even go as far as to put some sublime somewhere before or after beasties.
