I have a pet peeve when it comes to eating. I get really annoyed by "plate clinkers", people who clink their silverware on the plate everytime they jab at some food, it also annoys me when their is nothing left on the plate or in a bowl and the person scrapes and scrapes like they are gonna starve if they don't get that last bit of food. Don't even get me started on teeth scrapers. IIN?
I don't get it. Does it bother you to hear people swallow loudly as well, as in if they take a big gulp of a drink accidentally?
Maybe you should buy plastic knives and forks and give them to people you eat with just so you don't hear their METAL utensils hitting CERAMIC (bound to happen occasionally, no?). ;p
You must be in hell in crowded restaurants and cafeterias.
I can't stand teeth scrapers! Just the thought of it grosses me out ugh! I thought I was the only one!
Oooh, that sound gives me shivers - even right now, just thinking about it. It's like nails down a chalk board.
Just don't hate on people who were not fortunate enough to be raised in an environment that promotes table manners - it's a bit elitist.
i agree with the teeth scrapers too. terrible, metal on china. one thing i cant stand is kids in a restaruant waiting for their meal and banging with the cutlery. (now ive mentioned it you will notice it and be annoyed, sorry)
