Question about the steve wilko's thought process.

Ok,I know Steve Wilko's used to be a bodyguard on jerry springer, marine, and chicago police officer. He also had his own show where he goes around exploring perversions and confronting all kinds of rapists and murderers, and all kinds of kids in horrible homes and people with no where to live, forced to prostitute,etc... Yet you still think it's more important to have a war on drugs, when poverty would be 100 percent gone without the war on drugs. I can take one look at steve and see he won't listen no matter what because he thinks he's on nypd blue and that the world is his stage to get pathos and sympathy as he beats the shit out of people.

He supports the war on drugs. 8
He doesn't support the war on drugs. 4

I respect the guy for the stuff he has gone through with his professions, but I think that show of his is kind of stupid. I haven't watched it for a while, but all I remember is him bringing really messed up families on stage and then picking the one who had the most issues and screaming at them about how much of a pathetic loser they are, telling them to get off his stage.

Like... does he not think that they already know their life is messed up? Idk maybe his show has helped some people, but I didn't find it to be a very good show.

I've watched his show a bunch of times. Even If he understood how arbitrary drug laws are he would still support the war on drugs because he rationalises that it stops gangs and cartels. Let's say that's true steve: why are all the cops arresting people with no gang connections or criminal record 99 percent of the time? because it's easy, and because like you, they don't really care as long as they get paid every week and can go home and watch t.v.

Most of these cops have been taking steroids anyways, but does that hypocrisy register in their brains at all? Nope, they actually feel genuine anger towards drug users(this is a horrificaly vague and many times misleading label that can apply to almost anybody). Long story short, Steve Wilkos can bench press 300 pounds and beat the shit out of petty criminals.

Steve serves a positive cause all around. Although he is human he has room for judgement. It only makes him better. Pray that he grows old enough to touch the streets even more. God sees and knows all. The best thing to do at this time in life is learn from everything you see and try to love to apply the will of God in your life. Mabe Steve is doing what God asked him to but he is keeping God as his PERSONAL savior. Now in that, I can truly see past what the world thinks.
