Putting tampons in the men's bathrooms. do you agree or disagree?

Emerson College in Boston recently adopted the new policy that tampons and pads should be available in all women and men's bathrooms to accommodate "men who have periods".

What do you think of this? Good idea or bad?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Lololol. There aren’t free pads and tampons available to women. But sure, give em to dudes. What’s new?

Is it good or bad? I really don't know.

Either way, people need to stop pissing and shitting on the floors in the public restrooms. Makes me wonder if they do that in their house. 😠

I wonder if they'll even have them in the mens room of the biology department?

That is utter absurdity. Don't we already do enough to accommodate the gender confused .1% amongst us?
I mean, think about it. Not only are you affirming an absurd ideology, spending twice as much money for these free products, and giving yet another reason for someone to enter the bathroom of the opposite sex, but also they'll likely just be wasted, because some vandal will just come along and piss on them, or something, rendering them useless.

That's just dumb. Men don't have periods. Manly women can, but not men.

Do they even have them in women's bathrooms anymore? I haven't seen one in ages.

They dont even have them in womens bathrooms, at least not where I live. 🤔 I guess why the hell not though. I'll sneak into the mens bathroom next time I get my period in public.

Bad idea, it's just going to lead to women raiding the men's bathroom.

Then again... I guess it depends on how you look at it...

Seriously though, more likely the "men"'s will only ever get used if a woman asks somebody to go in and get one for them because the women's supply ran out.

Women and men both suffer from crotch fungus. Women euphemistically call it ‘yeast infection’ and men call it ‘jock itch’. Chlotrimazole is one effective medication. Women buy it as ‘Vagisil’ while men use a generic form. The women pay much more.

Put 'em in the men's room, women's room, wherever. Just as long as women have access to them. I'd be totally on board for the government to provide hygiene items at taxpayer expense, it would benefit everyone

I use a (much needed upgrade) gillette mach3 turbo man razor. Fuck women market products that could be genderless

You seemed to forget what manufacturing means. There is a single machine that makes these. Those machines retail around 8k. You set the machine for a specific design output. The cost of materials isn't significantly different for what is required to make the tools. The main reason for a higer cost is supply and demand. Women are under more pressure to shave more often, therefore going through more razors. So they can get away with it. And yes, if people can get away with charging a higher price you better bet they will. That is a business standard and hardly far fetched. The idea that they wouldn't do this is far fetched.

The "pink tax" is such a nonsense controversy. Either the female products are identical to the male products, in which case buy the cheaper of the two, or else they're NOT identical, in which case it makes sense for there to be a price difference

Do people genuinely not understand that, or do they choose to ignore it?

Clearly, there is a lot people don't understand.

The claim that pink dye costs more was disproven in 2021.

But once you have a mold or template there is no reason manufacturing these plastic handles with blades should cost more to produce. It's only a subtle difference in design. It's not like one is a machete and the other is a butter knife. People are greedy amd have been getting away with it. That is a much more reasonable explanation for the price difference.

no you stupid fucking retard, not only was your response unfunny, you didn't even ask the fucking question right you mentally handicapped mouthbreathing milk snorter. in order for you to make sense, you should have asked "are you saying that women that wear TAMPONS make you uncomfortable?" you room temp iq neanderthal

If women that wear tampons make you uncomfortable then that means women that wear pads make you uncomfortable because women shouldn't make you uncomfortable at all so this is clearly rooted in white male misogyny. Apparently turning yourself into a woman doesn't get rid of the man ideology smh.

And wow you're saying that you hate the mentally handicapped and neanderthals? People like you have no place in this society.

I don't mean to be facetious, but you just gave a long winded answer to somebody that is obviously trolling, then ended it by saying that you weren't even going to answer it. All you're doing is "Feeding the trolls".
