Was passing by a stall and some salesman dragged my mom to try some samples. At first I didn't mind since I expected it to be short, but then I noticed she started feeling uncomfortable since he kept putting stuff on her face and etc.

I told him, "Thank you for the samples but we've been here too long." He started saying, "Don't you want to make your mom happy?" and other shit. Basically, he wouldn't let us leave and my mom was being too passive.

By then, I started getting pissed off and kept quiet. Was probably there for literally 10+ minutes.

Is this normal behavior, though? I know this is a job, but jeez. He was basically pushing it and in the end, he cut down the price by half - probably because my mom didn't want to buy it and he spent way too much effort trying to convince her.

    Lemme tell you a similar story, me and my best friend were shopping, this woman from a nail care stall dragged us in, me and my friend are quite quiet so don't like to say no etc, next thing she's taken off both of our's nail polish, slagged off our nails, then tries to sell us her nail shit.

    I don't know how these people live with themselves.

    Some guy did that to me and I didn't want to be rude so I stayed and let him put this fucking voodoo witchcraft shit on my hand and said "yo i dont have the money for this shit" and then left to buy some popcorn at the stall next to him. Normal, just make weird faces or scream.

    He's a salesperson. Pushiness is a level that many of them sink too. It's their job. They want to be good at their job. Wouldn't you want to be good at your job? Get a promotion?
