I picked Other, because in England, jello is called jelly. It will always be jelly to me. Oh, and what Americans call jelly, we call jam.
Jello is nice, but I prefer the agar agar type; the thought of eating ground up animal hooves and collagen sickens me.
So pudding wins this round.
Neither; I'm vegan.
Although jello, as in jelly? What exactly is pudding? I've only ever lived in the UK so to me jello is jelly, jelly is jam and pudding is dessert of any kind.

I miss the old puddings. When I was a kid, suet pudding and spotted dick were on the way out, to be replaced by sticky toffee pudding and caramel apple granny. They're great, but I miss the traditional ones.
All in all though, I think I prefer tart. Between Manchester, Bakewell, Custard, Treacle, Cornflake, and Lemon Meringue, there are some amazing tarts. And then you've got the tortes, the tarte tatin, Linzertorte. The only one that ruins it is Pop. A pop tart is unworthy of being called a tart. It's almost unworthy of being called food.
The poll is comparing instant pudding mixes with Jell-O gelatin dessert, which you'd probably call "jelly". I think you're referring to the British definition of "pudding" which just means any dessert. I'd say the creator of this poll is north American.
My family is of English background, so we do eat a lot of English desserts like trifle, rice pudding, mince tarts, etc. Most of my friends have never heard of any of them.
I've tried making "sticky toffee pudding" like 3 times, and it's never turned out! Maybe I just don't get how it's supposed to be.
What are you blathering on about? What dappled prefers shouldn't matter to you but it obviously did since you commented.
I don't like jello and prefer pudding too, wanna make me your cyber enemy too since I have a preference for pudding?
And trust me babe, dappled is far more intellectual than your sort, so your comment probably only barely registered to his feelings. You need lessons in malice.
They got rid of my favourite Jell-O flavour :(
My favourite instant pudding is pistachio.
Pudding makes me gag, so I guess Jello, but only when I'm doing shots...lol
While I like both, I do prefer pudding when I have the opportunity to tweak it the way I like.
I take two pudding cups, one chocolate and one tapioca, then I mix half of the chocolate with the entire cup of tapioca in a bowl.
MILK CHOCOLATE TAPIOCA. Best. Pudding. Ever.
Now that I'm thinking about this, I have an observation.
I prefer Jello pudding in cups and Jello gelatin as a mix.
It's strange, but the pudding mix you make yourself always seems to come out with a strange texture to me, while the gelatin from the mix has a much better texture than it does in the cups.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
Pudding with some ice cream,custard,
fruit salad or and peaches /apricots, mmm
Hello Jello! I don't eat the brand "jello" anymore because its so unhealthy but I still like gelatin. My favourite gelatin snack is Dofu. I also like pudding but I like it thick and creamy. I hate when its runny.
