guys can change in public and people are fine with it. they can walk around without a shirt. why cant girls? im not saying that i would walk around like that, im just saying if it was acceptable i would change in public and be totally comfortable with it. do you agree that girls should be allowed to do the same as guys?? is this double standard normal?
It is not a double standard. Girls have boobs, guys don't. If guys also had privates on their chests, they wouldn't be allowed to get changed infront of others.
Just be lucky you're a girl. You can wear almost anything you want without being made fun of. It is normal for us to wear pants, but not normal for guys to wear dresses. Not only that, but a guy can't even show his emotions, shave, or compliment a baby without looking gay.
I AGREE!!!! males and females should be equal. I don't care if people don't wear clothes as long as males and females are equal.

We have breasts to feed babies, not for them to be a sexual object. I understand the fascination, I think the female gender is incredibly beautiful compared to guys anatomy.... But its still not fair. What about guys with man boobs??? Why should they be allowed to change in public, some look just like our chests..breast wise?!!!
Totally double standard, but its bc breasts are looked at as sexual objects. In reality, TECHNICALLY... The only reason we have them is to nurse our children. But men have made it something different.
Not a double standard. That would be a short route to public indecency lawsuits, considerable hipocrisy ( changing in public with knowledge that staring will happen, but comlaining anyway) etc.
A note, laws and social norms are made with views if culture, I.e. sexualization of regions of the body, in mind.

Men aren't sexy looking. They are lumpy and hairy when naked so it doesn't matter. The female form, however, is a thing of beauty and can distract and elicit lust in the hearts of men. Let's not distract these poor fellas by changing in public! Some of them are married. Oh ya by the way not all women look beautiful naked but that is a separate issue
Touching a womans boobs turns her on. Try touching a mans boobs and see what happens. Not the same thing. Not a double standard.
It's not mans fault. Any lesbians here want to admit that they find breasts sexual as well? Of course the same can be said about a shirtless man, so yes it is a double standard. By the way, some studies have shown that men are attracted to women with larger breasts and butts, and these women are shown to be more fertile and better with child birth, due to wider hips. So I suppose there's a good reason that guys find these traits attractive.
But seriously our right! If women found guy's nipple sexualy beautiful then men wouldn't change in puplic.
