Pubes or no pubes?

I know you wanted male feedback but I just wanted to say that from my experience, most guys don't really care either way as long as stuff is trimmed and tidy. The guys who expect you to stay stringently bare down there tend to be the ones who watch too much porn and have unrealistic ideas about how a woman is "supposed to take care of herself."

Yada-yada... different guys, different preferences,... yada-yada... a guy who won't accept the way you look down there, isn't worth your time,... yada-yada... do what you prefer,... yada-yada.

I like the idea of pubes on a young woman, in part because it could be a part of a girl confidently going against the stream.

I suggest, you rock the style that you like most, and do what you're comfortable with.

I would say do whatever makes you feel comfortable and who cares what the guy thinks? You should things for yourself, not for others. What do you think would look best? What would you feel the prettiest having? Because at the end of the day if guys tell you that a bush is desirable, but you know you would feel more confident being shaved you won't feel as sexy in the bedroom. I keep mine shaved, because it's what makes me feel the most beautiful! It's what I prefer and honestly if a guy is going to throw a fuss over pubic hair that really isn't your problem.

It's a matter of individual preference. Bare does seem popular lately, but I think it's pretty hard to go wrong with neatly trimmed. It's almost certainly not going to turn anyone off. Either of the other options considerable could, depending on individual preference.

You could always just ask the guy in your life first of course.

I'm a girl and I prefer to have mine completely smooth not even stubby! My mum said that its "not normal" to want completely smooth down below so I tend to experiment! Trim is then (this is going to sound stupid) lay on ur stomach (pants down just a smudge) if its comfertable on you then any man that finds it uncomfortable can get stuffed! Idiots uncomfy with just a trim shave fully and hope for the best!! It's a weird techniques but that's how I've been told to see it! Hope this helps!

I don't have any problem whether my girlfriend has pubes or not. She has pubes but i go down on her everytime we do sex. But one thing you have to maintain is cleanliness in that area because it tends to accumulate the moisture and thus can stink.

Ask the guy you're with what he likes. It's not an odd question, so there's nothing to feel akward about. I'll say that I don't know of any men under 40 who prefer bush. It's usually either trim it, shave it, or leave a little and shave the rest. So, if you feel that uncomfortable, just trim it a good amount. It's a safe bet if you're that concerned.

Why do you think it's about time to lose it? No one says that. Lose it with the one you love, not just because you want to lose it to feel cool. You're 18, not 30, sheesh.

But as for the pubes, I'd go with either cleanly shaven or trimmed.

The vast majority of women shave their legs and underarms. They do it to look more feminine. If you subscribe to this majority view, why then would you not keep the center of your feminine sexuality shave smooth and clean.

I know some women (masochists) who are big fans of waxing. And other more modern high tech women who go laser. I prefer smooth and hairless.

Any moron who thinks this makes you look prepubescent is likely the same guy who thinks a man shaving his face looks like a prepubescent boy! To those men I say, "Go forth and join the priesthood."

There is another argument that we are driven by scent ( this is well documented and I recommend you pick your husband-wife by this method.) In those cases pubic hair likely plays a role of trapping scent. I find usually better to have a good diet, low in sugar which seems to make you smell badly, and to bath and avoid perfume (confuses) and deoderants, which actually amke you stink, especially the antiperspirant chemicals.

I think women who brush their hair, bath, and shave feel more feminine to me, but when a woman like the one above who has not for 40 years, let her find those men who like that. There does seem to be any number of combinations which both attract and repell us.

I find without pubic hair, I am forced to get my nose very close to her vagina, often lapping and sniffing. The "Oh God Yes!" I hear cried out during these times, leads me to believe women might like this form of scent collection.

As a older male, I have had the pleasure of going down on more women then use this site. Saying that, start by trimming for your first encounter, it can always grow back. Yes, a shaved genital area can be a real turn on. Plenty of time for that, if you choose. Any man that goes down on a woman, usually does not want catch a 4" long pubic hair in his teeth. Keep it clean and enjoy your life adventure.

I like it shaved smooth, but know that's a hassle for my lady to keep it smooth and not all stubbly (ouch!). Second choice is to have it shaved everywhere except a small trimmed patch above the parts. And I would be grossed out to encounter a hair rear end! Oh, and if you get a regular sex partner, don't be afraid to nicely request they reciprocate and trim the bush!
