Procrastinating on going to military recruiter

I've been a horrible test taker, and get test anxiety most of the times I take them. I want to join the military but I can't bring myself to do it because I'm scared about taking the ASVAB test. I want to get a high score, and I feel I may only get just above average but not high enough. Has anyone else felt that way before taking the asvab test? Is it normal?

go anyways. the asvab is easy. it asks "intelligence based" questions as well as questions in practical mechanics and puzzle solving. I have taken the ACT, three Praxis tests and gone through college, taking ever exam imaginable and I found the asvab unique, unlike any traditional test. And unlike a normal test you can take and retake the Asvab. Furthermore you only need a 50 out of 99.

Test anxiety is normal. But you go and take that test anyway. It's just the start, later in your military career no one will care about the test.

You sound like you're hard on yourself ease up.
