Prochoice prolife debate, silly?

Im a single young mom of 2 baby girls, im disgusted, the prolife prochoice debate is just plain stupid, for one part, I DO agree that if a woman any age gets raped and pregnant she could get an abortion if that's what she wanted. Or failed birth control.

Prolife side they just seem to care about abstinence and thats a bit unrealistic, not every one wants to not do it. You have to teach kids about everything, not pretend that they are not going to listen to their horny lil bodies

Prochoice side seems to thinks thats its ok for a girl to get an abortion just because she doesnt
Want the baby, and the fact of the matter is that you DO have a choice, USE damn protection if you are going to have sex, im sure you heard of condomns, use them, they hand them out FREE. Theres the "Day after Pill". Abortion is even more expensive than if you had to buy birth control. Then there's adoption too, its a great deed for you, baby, and the adoptive family.

What i mean is every side is very extremist about the whole thing. What would you call me? Have you ever thougth about this? What do you think? Is it normal to think like this?

    I honestly hate talking about this because which ever side you're on you usually offend/alienate someone. Though I do think this is something you should do your research on and come to an informed decision about. It's so much more complicated an issue than most people realize. OP, for example, you barely hit upon any of the usual arguments let alone the obscure ones. You might need to give it more thought.

    I'm not going to share my opinion at this time, but once I made a pros/cons chart for each side, and the side that "won" for me had about 30 separate pros. I do like to know where I stand on the big issues. It seems like something important people should know about themselves for whatever reason. If you're on the fence, that's OK. Don't rush yourself into a quick decision and never question it again. There is still relevant research being done today. I may yet change my own mind. I've flip-flopped more than once already since I formed my first abortion opinion when I was 11 or so. There are, of course valid points on both sides. It's not supposed to an "easy" decision. It's the lesser of two evils, really. Anyone who thinks there's a simple, clear answer, in my opinion, is jumping the gun for thinking it's a no-brainer.

    Pro-choice protects a woman's right to choose what to do with her body. I'm willing to bet you that the majority of pro-lifers are Christian extremists.

    I think that in the 21st century, it`s idiotic that we still have issues over abortion. Women should have a choice of what to do with their bodies without having to justify it to a load of pro-life rednecks.

    Pro choice for me. But not to be used As birth control. My friends daughter had way to many abortions. Now she can't have any if she wanted to.

    You seem neutral. Is it even worth posting that? You seem to have negative feelings towards the way pro lifer approach the topic but then u seem to be extremely negative towards pro choice like if someone were to get an abortion their stupid and ignorant..but everyone makes mistakes hun even if you werent to use protection.

    Well if you're asking everyone what they think you are...I'd say you were pro choice. That's just the impression I get from your post. I very much agree with you when you say that the debate is stupid.

    I agree because no matter which side one is on they are IN NO WAY going to change their minds. NO MATTER what arguments are made. So other than to create hostility, why argue about it?!?
