Pro life is it normal what do we do about the profoundly disabled

In your honest opinion what do you see as the best option for those born with severe disabilities.

I’m talking about those born unable to communicate, walk, hold a job or really offer any skillset to the world or provide for themselves. They would anyways be dependent on their parents and caretakers. I’m not taking about the person with Down Syndrome you know who works at the pizza shop.

I’m becoming more prolife with age, but honestly I’m not sure I’d be able to raise a child who I know would never be more than a full grown infant.

Do we just open asylums back? Do we create more welfare programs? Do we just send them to nursing homes at a certain age? What do you see as the most moral option? And should parents be forced to eternally care for such a child?

If anyone gets offended for me asking this question I have a disability myself, I’m autistic and have very poor motor skills, but my life is relatively normal compared to my peers. I know I’m unwanted, but I’ve grown to accept bring undesired.

I can only tell you what I would do. I would take care of the kid regardless. We knew my daughter had a heart condition before she was born and we could have aborted but it never crossed our minds. It sounds sick to even think about to me.

I guess you could say caretakers need jobs too.

Put them in an empty vat or shipping container, weld it shut and leave it somewhere in the desert. Open it up after a week and reuse for the next batch.

    I'm pro-life but at least I am not a neo-nazi genocide enthusiast.
