if u r confirmed about your preganancy you should tell your parents especially right now you can convince them there is no reason for which they will not belive you after all they love you

3 months is the appropriate time to tell people. Don't worry, even if parents disapprove of the choices their children make they usually adore their grandchildren, Good luck

It'll all end in tears - it usually does.

    Hey love,

I graduated from college at the end of 2010 and, now working full time, fell pregnant with my partner of 1 year 8 weeks ago.

I am considerably young however I believe that so long as you and your partner make an informed decision, you will be all right.

Not aborting is a great decision (I have nothing against abortions) in my opinion, how much fun to have a baby!

Right so, at 12 weeks you are through your first trimester and into your second. From now onwards you can tell people; the chances of miscarriage (largest in 1st tri) are now diminishing and your pregnancy is finalising. With only 6 months left in the pregnancy, having family and friends to support you is very important. Trust me, even the people who judge you with a negative opinion will come around when they see little bub and the success you and your partner will achieve.

You are one step ahead, my partner left me for two weeks so having that support is vital.

Be proud of the pregnancy, tell college staff earlier rather than later. I told my work at 6 weeks pregnant and I was promoted to a less labour intense/ stressful position. Just goes to prove people do care.

    Good luck!

doesnt sound to me that you are ready or completely happy about this pregnancy otherwise you would be chaffing at the bit to tell everyone. why dont your parents like the guy? how old are you? personally i think you should have taken more care into not getting pregnant but its too late now. you need to think about the baby and whether or not this is best for them.
