Pouncing straight to the hallway

Ok so ever since i was really small I have pounced straight from the edge of my bed into the hallway. This is because I believe that there is a creepy zombie under the bed. I am now 27. Is this normal? does anybody else still have irrational fears like this?

um if your 27, no that is not normal that is just weird. but when i saw your question it reminded me of my 12 year old sister cuz she always like suddenly bolts right out of her room and just runs down the hallway. i'm serious when she's going back upstairs to her room or comes out she always had to run or stomp like there's a freakon fire and it's making laugh now but it actually really aggravates me when it happens

i was like that when i was a kid too. i used to jump from my bead into the hallway and try to avoid the floor in my bedroom as much as i could because i believed there was something under there and it was going to get me. i always had really long hair when i was a kid too and i used to tie it up in a bun when i went to sleep so it didnt drape over the edge of the bed so the monster couldnt get it. i have gotten over it thankfully lol and i am 27 too. maybe buy a bed that has drawers under them so there isnt any room for a "monster" to fit under there and see if that helps with your fears. as long you truly realise that it isnt real.....
