Over the years, I've found different groups of people have different rules when smoking weed. I'm personally not that bothered but some people are very strict about it.

As long as nobody Bogarts it and it consistently moves in the same direction, I really don't care.
Occasionally, the amount of finger-to-finger touching that goes on during a pass can weird me out a little, depending on who it is. :L
Usually to the left, but it sometimes depends on the order of the circle and who starts. Sometimes it starts with who put the most in, and then goes in the direction of who contributed more.
I usually pass mine to whoever is newest to the circle. Example: my main bitch would be last, while her little brother who just discovered it would get first hit :)
I just pass to whoever's next to me.. usually i'm clumsy by then i'm not really thinking about it!

Whichever makes it closer to me from the newly packed bowl... left. But I never smoke joints, its all about bongs and vapes
