This is in no way trying to cyber bully anyone nor am I trying to start trouble on this site. I have terrible typing skills, yet I've noticed a lot of poorly written posts when I search for stuff in the Search Bar on this website.

Anyway, when you see a poorly written post on this site, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

I'm not talking about the ones where English isn't their first language. I think that's a legitimate reason to misspell things. I'm talking about the ones that don't use capital letters, paragraphs, periods, commas, or any kind of sentence structure. They usually are just one massive block of text.

This person is a troll. 1

    Said person is an annoying, obsessive dumb ass would be my prime assumption. Usually those types need relationship advice. It's sad really.

    I'm not trying to be mean; just being honest.

    I see it as further being proof to just how far America's educational system has fallen from grace.

    Do they think that way of spelling is cool?

    Is it out of laziness?

    Or, is it something else? It makes me wonder if they write like that when they are in school/university. Would they still write like that if they were to get a job? If they wouldn't in these cases, why then, do they choose to write like this in their free time?

    Is it neurologically related? If so, what are the chances that all of them would have some type of neurological disorders or are these types of health issues becoming this common?

    I try to approach this from different angles. I'm getting to the point where I no longer get my panties in such a twist over this.

    I think they are new to the site and used to typing like that on the internet most of the time. Could be for other reasons though.

    You sound ignorant of the fact that everyone in the world doesn't speak english as a first language. The thing about the world wide web is that it contains both websites and PEOPLE from around the world.

    This never annoys me. However I have gotten annoyed when people say things that don't technically express what is intended. Except THEY DO. And this is where I realize that an annoyance at presentation bothers me even more. A person can craft something completely logical but fail to communicate the information they wish to (guilty lol) while someone else can make many errors while the meaning they wish to express is perfectly clear. IMO language is used to Communicate ideas. And if the person is successful in that, then perhaps they didn't need to follow the rules to do so.

    I think most of them are lazy(this site even underlines wrongly spelled words for you!)
    Occasionally its the fact that they are not English speakers but you can usually tell the difference between bad sentence formation and just bad spelling/grammar.
    I like the guy who said he goes to "collage".

    maybe they're intoxicated, or haven't mastered their smart phone's complete use of keyboard. I had a buddy that would text me always with no spaces between the words bcuz he could't find the space bar.

    It's half and half. Half trolling and half lazy,
    I mean I'm no professional when it comes to grammar, but I've seen some pretty terrible posts on here.

    Some people use to excuse that they are using a cellphone, but when I use a cellphone, I always make sure to still use proper grammar.

    then have them build in a spell checker i usually dont know what im going to say so i just rant and rave and thats why it looks like a mess but dont you think your being a bit anal with punctuation capital letters sentence structure i mean come on im just glad people arent using slang words abbreviations and other forms of that "text talk"
