the alien from alien, usually the reveal of the villain in a horror film lessens the impact for me as it's never going to be as scary as the unknown and what you can imagine, alien though was the exeption for me, i found that alien fucking terrifying

freddy from the first film was brilliant too but as the series went on he vecame more and more like a comidian, then went all meta with the final nightmare, urgh

Leatherface's family is really the most interesting.
