Police sirens make me paranoid.

Whenever I hear police or ambulance sirens I start to get paranoid and start thinking they are coming to take me to jail. Is this normal?

Soon enough you'll start having panick attacks every time you see a uniform.
    Like:Licence and registration.
    You:Sure.(Breathing heavily)I know it's here somewhere.
    Step out of the vehicle.
(Gets out of the car and faints before the agent)
Better the hospital than the county jail.
Just remember your emergency pill. The one that makes you feel bad and pop it in your mouth before the agent gets near you.Did you know they can be sued for jeopardizing the health of a person? For example:You are sick, and you are throwing up all over the place, and they just push you in the patrol unit and take you away, even know you are feeling sick and need medical attention..you can sue. They have the duty to arrest you if you break the law not to kill you in the process.

Last time I seen a police agent I had an anxiety attack so bad I almost died after falling onto the ground like a bag of rice in a fetal position. Those guys are terrorists! Terrorists I tells ya!Terrorists with a uniform!
We just wanna talk to you!
You don't "just wanna talk to me".You want to put me away! And I don't know what you think but I take that personally!Get out of my house!Leave me ALONE!I don't wanna go someplace where I can rest!Take your filthy slimy hands off me you pig or I'm gonna sue your ass and your balls!Call my lawyer!I have the right to remain silent everything I say can and will be used against me in a court of law.I know my rights! This isn't right! You are gonna pay for this you PIG!

Yes, same here. I think for me that it stems from a phobia, the way my parents taught me about them; the lies they told, and a traumatic and embarrassing situation that occurred quite a few years ago when "someone" called them to come to my house.

my neighbor once had a dog that hated anything in a uniform because it got kicked by a mailman once. you are very much like that dog, except that dog was way cooler.

Ya must b guilty of something to think like that. Not only that, don't u think they have more important things to do?

  • did you do anything illegal lately??

  • They are needed to a degree - but IMO - overused, in order to intimidate the public. Of course you feel freaked out - you are supposed to.
