My first divorce and the roughly seven years of insanity that lead me to marry mistake number two. Additionally the many years I spent in my youth without proper treatment for a serious personality disorder.

    • For being diagnosed with a personality disorder you are one of the more rational people here.
Most the people I know with personality disorders do not act reasonable.

Thank Bugs, that's very kind of you to say. I'm sure some people would disagree, but I thank God for a loving family, an awesome therapist and a doting feline companion.

Attempting suicide when I was 16 and my own mother not noticing/caring and brushing it off as me trying to get high and therefore not pushing for me to address my issues which I had to get over entirely by myself

I will never forget the time I was constipated on a rock-hard, football-sized mound of turd.
And women think they have it hard giving birth, lol :D

Nearly 6 months of...struggling. only being able to eat one meal per day. The same meal every day for the entire time. Sometimes, if there was any, my dad would put different kinds of spice in the Maize Meal for us..to make it taste like something else..
I will never ever forget that time in my life. Never.

Being on a sailboat in a hurricane was one of the most trying experiences of my life. We were even rolled upside down a few times and when the hatches were torn off, the boat almost sank.
Five days of fighting for our lives left us all completely exhausted and physically ill for some time afterwards.
