Please help with my sis!

I'm a 18 year old female and I have a 12 year old sister. But she acts really weird.
Like, she likes video games and comic books and all that crap, she watches doctor who and south park and other horrible shows. She never wears dresses or skirts... just black leggings, a beanie and a T shirts with stuff like last clean t shirt on it, Honestly it's like having a brother!
She could be really pretty if she just washed her face a bit better,
gave her hair a quick cut and actually stuck to the diets I gave her...
ugh, and shes friends with boys as well as girls... and not like as in she goes out with them.
As in they come round to ours and they play call of duty ops of black or something.
also she plays soccer/football.

So anyway...
Is my sister normal, or is she a total weirdo?

She sounds really awesome. Instead of trying to forcer her into some gender stereotype you could just embrace your little geek, because there's nothing wrong with her. You sound like a badly written character out of some teen movie, which is why I asume this is a fake post.

  um no, it's not fake. And I'm not gender stereotyping, I just didn't know if it was normal or not. I grew up in a family that says girls should were dresses and stuff, My sister didn't listen so I was just wondering.

Dude. I'm a girl, and your sister sounds just like me. Trust me, she's not weird. I love Green Day, and I wear the exact type of clothes you describe her to wear. Honestly, from my point of the view she's the most normal person I've heard of. In my family, it's also been established that girls are supposed to wear dresses, but I don't blame her for not wanting to wear them, I hate dresses too. And about the diets, don't try to force them on her, it's not gonna make you a better sister. As for the face washing and hair cutting, she just doesn't prioritise her appearance as much as most people, like me haha. I'ma be honest, but your sister sounds EXACTLY like me, heh. She's just a geeky tomboy. It's not weird. She just has a different personality than you.

At 12 she has alot of growing up to do and she could change completely at any time. Just let her find her own path.

If you think "Dr. Who" and "South Park" are horrible shows, I'd say it's you that has the problem.
They are 2 of the most creative and intelligent shows ever.

I'm a 59-year old woman, and I still hate wearing dresses to this day! When I was your sister's age, I had to wear dresses in school - no choice. That's just how it was back then. If I never have to wear another dress, it will be too soon!

As for screechy music - well, that's a matter of personal taste, isn't it? Personally, I prefer blues, classic rock, classic R&B, etc., but then, I don't think I've ever heard anything by Green Day, so I really can't judge.

I'm not much of a TV watcher, and haven't seen Dr. Who in about a million years. If I recall, I did enjoy the few episodes I saw. And a little South Park now and then never hurt anyone. :)

Video games and comic books? Heaven forbid! LOL!

Actually, she sounds delightful. And it sounds like you might just be a bit of a control freak, my dear. Maybe you should lighten up and let her be the unique individual she clearly is!
