You don't need any pick up lines, special advice, good looks, or any of that bullshit. Just grow a pair man and start making friends with as many girls as you can, which you might have already and "Start Hitting On Them". This problem is not because of girls or your situation, it's cause you lack the stones to walk up to a chick, and make a serious effort to start a relationship, don't just settle for friends or get hung up on one chick you won't have, actually go out there and try. If you fail so what, look elsewhere just don't give up ever.

oh man. Engineer major...tough major to find a girlfriend...If you are going to be an engineer, you know that focusing on school is important. But then again, hormones peak at 19 in males...so you will be unsatisfied till you find companionship most likely.

Get involved in campus life somewhere. I know some campuses are harder to do that than others, but the girls you want aren't in your classes, so it seems obvious to find them on campus somewhere.

What are your interests? Wouldn't it make sense to find others with your similar interests on campus and maybe find the girl of your dreams there?

If all else fails though, don't worry, you're young. I'm 24 and I was in the same exact boat at 18 my friend. Either get used to being satisfied in finding good friends to hang out with, or get yourself out there!

engineering isnt easy man, by no means, what you need to do, all jokes aside, is find a girl that is down to just kick it. Have a study session, watch a movie or whatever. Just get to know her, i think sex is the answer, but if you get to that point man its just a bonus. Just find a girl to kick it with on a weekly basis or something

OK most girls aren't shallow like us guys so remember have a good conversation starter (not a line), if you can make them laugh you are already half way there but you need confidence also or you will just be some guy!!

I am also a Engineering Student, computer engineering, and I know exactly what you mean, THERE ARE NO GIRLS in engineering classes. But behold i have found the solution to your problems... business electives. Sounds stupid but all the hott chicks are business majors these days, including my best female friend (who is off limits to you cause you sound like a loser). But I am serious take some business electives, hell fucking minor in it if you have to, that is where all the chicks are.

Your 18, you don't need a girl friend to live. I think you are envious of your friends. Give it time your young, and the right person will come along.
