    Ninjas nowadays tend to be all 'kawaii desudesudesu' weeaboo anime characters... But pirates have ALWAYS been seen as badass, ruthless and brutal people associated with history, pride and a tough life.
    Also, pirates have much better fashion sense and drive boats. I mean, how many fiction novels have you read about ninjas in ratio to pirates? Pirates are part of more of the world's history whilst ninjas only a small bit.
    So yeah, PIR8TES!!

    Pirates. Because of the Jolly-R, they're great skill at riding at High Seas, capturing Landlubbers, and singing Sea Shanties (two of them). You can find them In the Brine or Shipwrecked.
