Pink floyd vs. the beatles

There is no "best". There is only what you prefer. It's a personal choice. Given the choice between silver and gold, I'd prefer silver. An Olympic athlete would doubtless say that gold is "best", though.

Pink floyd.

They're kind of on different levels. So can't really compare them myself. But I would have to say Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd is good, one of my favorite bands. But they actually really only had about three good albums. The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and,of course, Dark Side of The Moon. Very interesting music.
HOWEVER, The Beatles win this by a long shot. The Beatles were inventing techinques, the same techinques that Pink Floyd was later to use. Pink Floyd usually stuck to a bizarre psychadelic/Epic music style, and didn't really branch out. The Beatles did everything, You can probably bet if they were still around they would probably be doing Hip Hop as well.
I find most people that detest the Beatles have just not really sat down and listened to them. Either that, or they've listened to maybe Yellow Submarine and basing the Beatles off of that. Which Yellow Submarine is one of their worst songs; Significant, but not that good.
Beatles hands down...

The musical stylings of both bands are too different make any real comparison where one could be declared the better of the two.

They're both good, but honestly I'm so tired of hearing about the beetles. I'm tired of hearing their songs in commercials and movies.

That's like asking if Bill Gates or Thomas Edison was/is smarter. They're from different eras and have different sounds, it's impossible to choose.
