About two days ago I’ve just been imagining myself getting stabbed in the stomach. In the image my ex is there just scared behind me and then it just stops. I try to go deeper into it but I just can’t picture who’s stabbing me or where I’m at. Any suggestions of what’s going on?
Probably a fear..My older sister used to sleep, on the couch or bed, with a huge knife within reach (can still see it in my mind), out of fear someone would break in and try to stab or kill her. It was mostly when she was alone and not living with anyone else in the house, but did go on for a little bit.
It depends. It could be just fear, think about what thoughts beforehand led to that thought. If it appeared out of nowhere and you aren't extremely stressed in your life currently it could be your intuition warning you
Did you picture this intentionally, or it appeared all of a sudden in your mind? It might be that your ex was abusive to you, and this is your own brain still echoing with senses, telling you to be aware of the danger.
