Is it normal for doctor not to check my genitals during annual physical exams? I am 36 yr old male. Doctor even did not check prostrate glands? I want them to get checked but dont know how to convey?
That's nothing. During my last prostate exam, I swore I felt a hand on each of my shoulders.
Yes they do have a procedure during your annual where they will grab your crotch and tell you to cough. I dont know what the purpose of this exam but it is something they do for males.
Not normal. My first physical I didn't get the prostate checked (thank God) but he mashed my meat bag around mercilessly.

Seriously though a prostate exam is recommended for the first time at age 40-unless you have symptoms requiring it sooner. So you've got 4 years.
A family Dr really doesn't check genitals unless you express a concern.
If you do have concerns then speak up.
Most doctors are homophobes and if not, you just got molested if they complete the physical.
