Phsycophantic thoughts

Sometimes when I'm alone with someone, I start thinking different, complicated and gory ways I could kill them and get away with it. Is this normal or should I get mental help.

I don't think its normal for most people, but it may be the norm for some. I do that frequently, so I consider it my norm. I think as long as it doesn't become an impulse to actually do it, you should be okay. If it does become an impulse but you aren't in the right situation to seek help (I.e. bad financial situation), you should be okay for a little bit as long as you aren't impulsive.
You may want to research Homicidal Ideation, if you haven't already. I did when I first started having thoughts like these, and there are some tips on how to control impulses one may get, like excersise, creative writing, etc. Basically, keep down time at a minimum.
