This is my rant.

I know most of you won't give two shits about it but I really want to rant. So thanks for listening.

Petty cash is not your personal ATM!

It drives me nuts. Petty cash is to pay for office needs, not just because you are to lazy to go to the bank. As a manager, I have a key to the box but I don't count the receipts. The accountant does that. And she is the worst at borrowing. Her daughter works with us too and needed money for lunch. Her mom was gone so she asked me for cash...I didn't want to give it to her. Go to the fucking bank. It would be no big deal if it wasn't constantly short $20. But it is. Thankfully the boss hasnt noticed. But im pretty sure the daughter is stealing it. It isnt me. I doubt it is the accountant, she isnt like that. But the daughter is a little delinquent with no ambition who should have lost her job ages ago.So fucking lazy. I hate it.

But they act like it is normal to take petty cash for personal reasons. Every fucking week.

Is it normal? Is petty cash really just an ATM and im being unreasonable?

    Talk to the boss about it and/or stop giving the daughter money. It sounds like you've got the authority to do so.
