Pet a towel?

Is it normal to pet/give scratches to towels / bedsheets (after rolling/scrumbling it into a size of a cat🐱/hamster🐹)?
I love to have a cat (a lot)
most of the time I pretend that its really a cat (i hug, i kiss, i pet, and i sleep with it)

my mom hate pets
* i have got 2 cats(kitty) walking near my house @ a distant past (i have even fed milk🥛 for one of it (but my mom didn't let me take (she even had a pet cat @ her childhood, why don't I))?

it turned into wierd, when I started having so much feelings to it.
sometimes I am extremely happy😊 when its(he/her/idk) near me, i feel like my both corners of my mouth/lips just touched my both ears, may cry because of happiness and hug my little kitten 😺

but sometimes it's exact opposite when i look @ my kitty and only see my bedsheet (cry a lot,cried a lot[try maximum to decrease the voice, or someone will wake up])

yup, it's really a cat(even now when I am trying, I am petting it with my other hand...

so, is it normal?

    It’s normal to crave a bond with an animal, however I’m concerned that you thought it would be appropriate to kidnap one of the cats on your street.
