of course, a female asking a period question so there's gotta be a bunch of Dbag guys trolling. well I'm a male and i think its normal. i talk to my girl about her period all the time and shes the same way. if you don't like it you don't like it. if it wasn't normal pads wouldn't be there. and they are =D. cheers.
I hate them them also. But with me it's that I have these ovarian cysts. So my ovaries get extremely tender and swollen and when I try wearing a tampon, my legs go numb within minutes. But for you, its probly that you are not putting it in correcly. If I'm remembeting right, theres instructions on the boxes.
u might be puttin them in wrong i cant even feel them when there in i hate pads who wants to sit in blood
I'm a guy and I too dont like the feeling of tampons. It just keeps slipping out and I cam feel it sometimes.
Well I'm a guy so I don't know why I'm even here I sounds normal though :)
I hate pads! Try using one with a plastic applicator, it goes in effortlessly.
Try getting the smallest kind you can and just relax. Once you get the hang of it, you'll hate pads!!
you gotta put then in right until you feel comfortable, with pads i feel like im wearing a diaper tampons are very efficient and easier to move around in
I adore tampons, they are amazing
Maybe you just need to find your size cause if its too small it might be moving around
Mooncups are far better than tampons... trust me. They're more comfortable [they don't dry you out or shed fibres against your vaginal wall like tampons do] and better for the environment [You only need one and you can use it agian and again as lon gas you wash it in between cycles], and you can do everything that tampons allow you to do when you have them in.
However, they take a little practise and may well need lube added to help them go in better.
I got one a few years ago and I've never looked back!
they are really uncomfortable for me too. it's probably due to putting them incorrectly, but i can't figure it out because it's always uncomfortable for me :/ so that's why i use pads unless it's necessary to use tampons.
It definitely sounds like you're not pushing it up high enough. Like someone else said, use some kind of lubrication if you need to.......because when they're in right you shouldn't feel it at all. I don't like to use them on heavy days though because as they absorb all that blood the tampon begins to get bigger and it makes cramps that much worse.
I have an extremely tight vagina, I have vaginismus and sex hurts and bleeds.
I cannot stand wearing pads because they feel like diapers.
Try using plastic applicators that are slender sized. Sometimes I put lube on them to be able to get them in.
Most of the time people get discomfort because they dont insert it right. If you insert it at a slight angle it doesnt hurt.
Try the slimmer ones. They might be better. That's what I use cause I find the others hurt.
You may not be putting it in far enough. If you don't then it will be very uncomfortable. If you put it in correctly then you shouldn't feel anything at all.
I always hated them until I learned the right way to insert them. They're probably only uncomfortable because youre not putting them in right. Read the directions in the package to learn how. That's how I learned
Those new Kotex U ones are amazing, can't even tell it's there. You just gotta get the guts and shove that thing up there. Plastic of course, cardboard is the stupidest invention ever. Fur reaalll
At first they aren't nice or ur not inserting them right.. But I use them and sometimes I forget it's there but everyone is different I have friends who hate them too.
Its not inside all the way or its in an akward position.
if they're not in high enough, they hurt. But if you do it right, you cant even feel it.
I used to not like tampons at first too. But in reality, it's so much better than wearing a pad. Because it's not messy like a pad and you don't get "overspills" like you can with a pad. Also it shouldn't be unconfortable. Find a brand that you can't tell ur using. Like Tampax Pearle or something. Don't get cardboad aplicators they suck.
I agree, get the junior plastic variety and you should be good. Tampons could also be uncomfortable for you because you don't push them in far enough.
You probably aren't inserting them right. Put a lil lube on the tip and relax.
It's totally normal to hate tampons. If one of your friends is planning a pool party and you know your cycle (it can be pretty unpredictable in the beggining) ask her to put it when your not on your period.
I always had that problem. Try asking your mom or a trusted adult. Try tampons for newbies and they are great!
