People who have not tried drugs annoy me.....

"I have never been drunk or smoked anything my whole life"

This is the kind of tripe these people come out with.

They believe everything they're told and in their tiny little amount of time spent on this planet don't want to experience anything for themselves?

Like Thats something to be proud of?

Everyone should experience rolling balls on MDMA or being so stoned reality becomes interesting, at least once in their life.

Jeeeez.

I respect their choice as long as they don't act superior for it or try to dictate how others should live.

Oh, just fuck off. Let people do what they want to do, you twat. Just because you like something, doesn't mean everyone else should try it. Especially something which could do something really bad to them. I don't tend to mind people taking drugs, and I try to keep an open mind, but there are certain people who should not take drugs, for the sake of their own (and other people's) health.

Heh, I guess you could say that:P. I usually do a better job of toning it down, but I failed a bit here. That said, though, I actually did tone my reaction down. I was going to call the OP a fascist but I thought that might be a bit much:P. It's easy for me to come across as being annoyed or angry here when I'm actually not, just by talking more like how I do in real life. It doesn't translate well at all. I usually insult friends in real life, sort of as a term of endearment type thing, but if I did that here it would look like I'm just insulting a user, understandably.

But in this case I was just a bit angry:P. Stupid fascist OP!!

        • I agree 200% brutha

Personally I love being stoned n shit but I think OP is being hypocritical. He doesn't like it when people don't respect his choice to do drugs, but he won't respect other people's choice to NOT do drugs? what the hell brah
OP just needs to smoke a joint and chill and get off that crack shit that makes him so uppity amirite

          • That being said, being super high or drunk around someone who has never done drugs and doesn't do drugs is sort of a buzzkill. I feel like they're judging me, even if I know they're not. So I sort of see his point (at least I see his point when I'm on drugs) but at the same time it's like brutha take a chill pill not all people who are straightedge are judgmental

What about those who just want to live a drug-free life?

And why do you assume they are ignorant? I never wanted to drink or smoke weed, then I did both heavily and I still prefer to be sober.

    God bless.

That's nice. Idgaf that others have or haven't. I don't want to because I don't want to, and I have a damaged liver anyway, so I choose to take care of it.

I can't think of what MDMA is.

You should respect others' choices, OP. Not everyone feels like they need to do drugs to experience life fully. Some people just have different mindsets. If they have a superiority complex about it though, yes, that IS annoying.

Some people fear losing control and/or arrest. Others believe propoganda so are reluctant to find out for themselves.

They'll miss the joys and pitfalls of drugs but will quickly accumulate savings or goods. If that's what rocks their boat, good luck to 'em.

It's not something to be proud of to have tried drugs either. Maybe some people aren't interested. Some people can get a bad reaction to them and die first time. ( I knew someone who this happened to.) there's plenty of other things to experience in life besides drugs. It's not like if you've lived your life without trying them you've missed out.

What about those who just haven't had the proper opportunity, but who have the open mind to do so?

I have been drunk a few times, but that is all. I would actually like to try marijuana once. But other than that I really don't want to do much drugs

OP - don't be that guy telling everyone about how you broke down the barriers of perception after you dropped MD. Nobody likes that guy. As long as they aren't acting high and mighty about not taking drugs then who cares?

It was the high and mighty "I've never took a drug in my life" girl that bothered me enough to post this actually.

And Trust me, I'm NOT that guy.

Drugs don't actually do the same thing for me as they do for you. For instance, narcotics don't give me a buzz at all. They provide pain relief and constipate me. The idea that other people do illegal things to get them is odd to me. You may have a personality that is always revved too high and you havven't figured out a way to get full relaxation without relying on an illegal drug. So fine, you found a cure that works for you, but it doesn't mean that's what it would do for me. You act like you know my body better than me and my preferences are wrong. Even though I don't get a good feelign from pot, I don't begrudge you if you want to use it. I don't recommend heavy use because it's bad for your ambition and your lungs, but occasional use is probably fine. I think it should be legalized. I enjoy alcohol in small quantities. I have never blacked out or done things I don't remember because I fall asleep before that happens. That's good! My liver thanks me and I don't waste money on alcohol. You actually think you are superior for enjoying the feeling of being out of control. That's very odd.

I think it sounds like the Original Poster isn't as happy as the they might want others to believe. The whole post brings to mind the old saying, "misery loves company" and I can't help but wonder if the so called annoyance at people who haven't tried drugs isn't in fact resentment and maybe a little bit of veiled envy.

I've tried Ecstasy a couple of times and I guess it was okay but I wasn't particularly impressed the first time. The second time I remember there was one really good sensation that felt like my heart was blossoming and that was pretty damn cool. Unfortunately I did it with my boyfriend at the time and he got so damn free and happy that he said some fucked up shit that was a serious buzz kill. He said right out of the clear blue, "I'd be open to an open marriage." WTF? So again there's a reason he's an ex. Bleh , but I digressed.

But the thing about Ecstasy is that there is a phenomenon called "Suicide Tuesday" which is when people can get morbidly depressed after doing Ecstasy because the Serotonin in their brain is badly depleted after doing X. So I would say it's not good to self medicate or try to fill the proverbial void with lots of MDMA. I understand the desire to experiment and try to expand the mind but it's really negative to harbor a lot of bad feelings about bad people who aren't doing MDMA. Unless that person is actively harassing you I would say live and let live. Also I would say the more a person does an experimental drug the less it can be a unique and special experience. Too much tripping becomes an escape from real life which can in turn lead to chronic under achievement.

Also don't forget to take your vitamins and stay hydrated!!!

As long as you keep it under control.

I graduated university with flying colors, and not for a hobby-degree.

During the course of my university experience, I tried MDMA (few) , cocaine (few), LSD (1), mushrooms (few), and smoked weed/cigarettes everyday.

Look at me now motha fuckas, livin the dream.
