Is it normal that I get so annoyed by people who drive SUVs? It's like...ok...you bought this monstrosity that can drive over logs and through rivers but the majority of you take turns at 3 miles per hour and practically come to a stop at speed bumps. Maybe you should have purchased a Toyota Echo.
Considering the fact that my step brother died in sept from flipping his tahoe while taking a turn to fast, I will have to disagree with the statement that more accidents are caused from going too slow.
To be this upset about SUVs isn't normal. I love my SUV and I feel safer in it than driving in a little car. :) I'm a five foot one chick and plan to buy a big ford F150. See you on the road :)
I love my SUV. It's 11 years old. It's paid for. Insurance is cheap. DMV is cheap. I'm a tall woman, and those crimpy small *** vehicles are for the birds. Even a so called large car these days are way too small. I feel safer in a SUV. To many wacko's out there thinking they can out run a big rig on the freeway. Have you seen those small cars smashed up on the freeways? Not safe. I just don't care to have one.
Maybe some people want their kids in a safe vehicle and take slow turns so we keep our babies from getting brain damage. You are probably one of those people who drive like a bat out of hell and make new moms very nervous bc you act like u own the road.

In the end you should all just shut up. It comes down to preference, and we all deserve to have one. Personally I'm a girl that likes pick ups and don't give a shit what the rest of you want me to drive.
You need to make your displeasure known. Start smashing their SUV's with a baseball bat. Why remain silent? It'll just eat you up.
U know what's even more annoying is people driving way too slow in ridiculously expensive race cars/roadsters/whatever the correct term is. I agree with the annoyance of those that drive way too fast as well, cutting people off, weaving in & out.... I'm not saying I don't speed, but I do it at an avg. over the limit amount without making others have to slam on their brakes or swerve out of the way.
I drive an old jeep Cherokee and I love it mainly because I can jam a lot of crap into it and it makes moving a breeze:) plus, it's great for driving in the snow.
I'd actually feel safer in a van than in a truck or SUV that's high off the ground, because it won't flip over if you get into an accident.
Uh, no? I'm 6'5" and driving an SUV is in essence a method of survival for me, I literally can't fit in those tiny baby cars and if I could, I wouldn't because I can't stand the idea that most people can't see me and could literally crush me by driving over me were I in one.
You want to buy me a new car? Expensive insurance, higher DMV costs? For 5 years? Then I might consider it. right now I'm saving money.
lets hope i dont see you on the road then have fun toppin it up with fuel every 5 minites oh and dont corner too fast it`ll flip and set alight LOL
I don't give a rats patooty about your small fast car. You are one of the reasons I drive a SUV. Darting in and out of traffic leaving a wake of angry people behind you. I don't feel safe with drivers like that on the road.

Mleko...it's easy to assume it's being careful but people that pay attention know the proper speeds. Chances are it was someone multitasking. Most likely txting now-a-days and was doing it mid turn.
Alyssa apperantly drives a big ol' suv lol...and set is a different work for pair. So calm the hell down.
Also. I think that there should be a height requirment to drive a big ass car. If you have trouble seeing over the steering wheel in one of those things your just a time bomb till you hit something or do something that you just didn't see.

Speed limits are posted for a reason. So you know the approprite speed. You're not going to flip your SUV or give your kids brain damage by taking a turn at a normal speed. I'm a true believer that more accidents are caused by people who drive too slow than people who drive too fast.
