Because superficial beauty isn't the only condition by which people judge attractiveness, and because superficial beauty is no guarantee of a relationship.

Well, if you want someone to love you based on looks alone that's your prerogative. But, relationships are a lot more fulfilling when your partner values you as a whole, not just for your looks. Stop worrying about your physical attractiveness and just wait for a guy that loves you for your entirety. Having a boyfriend is not the most important thing in life anyways. Being single is a very fulfilling experience.

There are lots of pretty/handsome people who are single. for many reasons. If anything being too pretty can go against you because guys tend to be intimidated or think "she must be taken".
    Like that song "Jesse's Girl"
Girls who look EASY (wear those stretchy pans with PINK on their ass and visible bellybutton tattoos) attract the most guys regardless of how attractive they are.

Being cute doesnt mean you'll have a boyfriend. You have to actually work for it. If you don't, it's probably not a relationship you want to be in.

  • People say things positive even if it isn't true. Base your levels of beauty on actions or if they just state it for no reason.

Just because you are attractive does not mean you are going to be handed relationships, this should be told to women especially due to the whole gender role of men initiating the relationships because those gender roles aren't what they were (which is good) and now requires women to initiate. So don't wait around for men to ask you out, you ask them out.
