People stare at me and i don't know why.

Sometimes when i go out people just stare at me. I can't tell if it's a bad stare or a good stare or if they're just watching me and i don't know why it happens.
I'm not unusual looking, i'm about a nine, I have dyed red hair and blue eyes and I dress in black and grays. I don't look bad but I'm usually not stare worthy. I try to just act like i don't notice it but sometimes it weirds me out.
Why is this happening?

    Pick your nose and flick it, or try some other method of distraction. Their response will identify to you whether they are really looking at you or looking past you or behind you instead.:)

    You're a nine? Lol I fucking love when people rate their own hotness on a scale of 1-10. Modesty out the window. You're probably ugly and that's why people stare. Or you just give off an air of "loli'msexy" and people stare at you in disgust.

    ^ this. Not only are you likely attractive, physically, you're very confident and self assured to claim to be this attractive. Whether you know it or not, your looks AND that confidence combined mean you're the sort of person who commands attention. It comes across in subtle ways as well, like your posture, your body language, your expression, and the manner in which you look back at them when they're staring. Get used to it, sexy star!

    If your hair looks unnaturally red (as opposed to mimic the color of natural gingers) its probably the reason. Not nice to stare regardless, but its probably that

    You may be paranoid. I'd have a couple of sessions with a shrink and talk about it. If you let it go it'll get worse and you might develop agoraphobia.
