Whenever I'm walking in a room or down a hall or anywhere it seems that people look at me. Today I was with a group of 20 people and the teacher kept looking at me. She looked at other people, but she kept starring at me. This happens alot. It's like people notice me more than other people or whatever. Is it normal?
If they're looking, you're looking too. So stop looking, or stop caring.
Maybe you have an "interesting" face, which could very well vary between "interestingly attractive" and "interestingly unsightly".
Or you have some interesting features, like an odd hairstyle, eye shape, clothing style, height, etc etc.
maybe ur just so selfconsious that u notice it more when ppl look at u then when they look at other ppl...u could possibly need a selfesteem boost
You could just have above-average looks or have some unusual physical trait that stands out.
People look at me too. But I know the reason- I'm 6'7" and weigh 285 lbs. And I have bright red hair.
I used to have this problem, it could be two things...
- You're attractive.
- You're staring at the person that stares back at you.
The second one was my problem, i found that i was always looking at people, and that was my problem, but i learned to ignore it now, and if anyone looks at me i smile [: haha
I don't think you are paranoid. People in a public place are all looking for different things, some people may look at you because they feel like you are the sort of person that is likely to give them an unthreatening response. They will then feel better for having made eye contact with you and that gives them a chemical release and makes them feel less alone. If you were someone who looks more judgemental, or aggressive it is unlikely that someone is going to look at you for reassurance. However if they are a little low on energy and they want a "rise" out of someone they might choose to look at someone who has a higher (pysically) energy level than them but who is at a lower (spiritually) level who might become annoyed with them. This immediatley gives them attention (even if it is negative attention) and they experience an energy lift at the expense of the other person. You get angry you give someone your energy...
There are a whole load of energetic interactions going on between humans all the time. Some people are able to see them going on and other's are oblivious, some people can feel them. There are a lot of levels that you can experience life. You are not paranoid, just aware.
They aren't glaring or starring disgustingly. They just look at me. Some smile, some keep looking, and some just stop. Weird. Also I catch them using my perrifial(?) vision. I don't really look at people. I look at the ground mostly.
Got to say things like this tappen to me all the time. People are really invasive with staring. I'm 22 years old male and not physically interesting any more than some other average guy and am dressing normally so I don't really see why would they stare, it's really annoying. You can't stare at unknown person, it's not polite to say the least. (I know of extreme cases where people got beaten up because of staring)
I'm not paranoid and I wouldn't say that I'm all that attractive. This is weird.
If your paranoid, it seems as if people are starring at you to the point that your fears come true because paranoia can be seen by others. Perhaps your eye-candy, and maybe both at the same time
I get dirty looks all the time from women when i'm in public. A friend once told me it's because I look like a B!#*$ and I'm pretty. I think a lot of ppl think that if your pretty you must know your pretty and be vain therefore you get labeled a B. I'm actually really nice which isnt the point but sometimes ppl become intimidated by others and they can't stop looking. They may be intrigued by you. In addition you may have an attractive spirit. Ppl can sense your vibes and the spirit within you and you may just be a cool person! Take it as a compliment. The flip side is that you are smug and it seems like you have an attitude all the time in which case ppl may stare but not as often as your getting stared at.
People look at me all the time. I alwas wonder if I have stuff on my face from how I get looked at. But also just ignore it if they are bad looks most likely jealous
Maybe the people are splitting who they look at evenly, and you only notice when they look at you, so it gives the effect that they are looking at you more.
Or unattractive to a point where they can't look away. But I think he's right.
