People hiding?

You know when you've got a crush on someone and they drop little hints at you to suggest they're feeling the same? You can completely see in their eyes and body language that there is something there. Just out of curiosity, if somebody then tells you after dropping these hints that actually, they don't like you, do you think a lot of people hide the truth and reject each other for other reasons, even if they totally DO have feelings for you?

Great question. It is probably stemming from the fear of rejection. Also, if it is something like a same-sex crush, the playing it safe could be both a safeguard against stigma and a way to taste the waters.

  • Yes and no. People can use you for their own emotional structure.

However sometimes people hide their feelings because they doubt it could ever go further, or the person hasn't initiated enough to make it known they definitely feel the same.

Maybe because they don't want it to get any further. Having feelings is one thing and being ready to move on with it, is another.
People also fear from what might happen next and whether they're right or wrong in this situation.
and most of the people think someone better will meet them in future.;p

Sometimes a banana is just a banana.

Sometimes, if you like a person, you would like them to like you back. So you want them to drop hints and therefore misinterpret harmless gestures as those "hints".

It always depends on their ability to suck cock. If they are good then they know it and they are confident and do meaningful things. If not, they do not. Simple.

there's a reason why sexual metaphors and analogies work so well when talking about relationships.

        it's not strange at all.

you can be very attracted to someone without wanting to pursue dating them

maybe this is more common for me, i'm seen as a "cute" petite female.. i feel a lot of sexual tension from men, and there is often a physiological response that takes place in me, but it isn't necessarily an attraction or interest on my part. I might blush, or my eyes might widen slightly, when i feel a man is looking at me that way.. but it doesn't mean i am interested, or that i like it.

Not sure if this has anything to do with what you're thinking of but thought it might help
