Not my friends, but my family and coworkers. My father is 5'7 and he says I'm tall and my coworkers that claim they wish they were tall like me are around 5'1 so I'm a bit confused as to why I'm tall? 2 inches over someone isn't that much taller, I dunno. Why do they call me tall? Its fine, but its just odd..no?
people are friggin liars. Just watch American Idol - people's families tell them they can sing all the time.
Yeah they tend to do that because they still remember you when you were little and they're still surprised at how much you've grown but you are not tall
I'm 5'3 too :D most people say I'm average height so idk.. Guess it's just short people that think we're tall haha

I'm 5'0 so I would THINK you are tall because you are three inches higher than I am. It's all about POV. Although little kids don't say I'm tall...actually they say I'm short, after they ask how old I am XP
Average height for white male adults in the US is 5'10". 5'4" for females. Even if you're short, people who are even shorter wish they could be your height.
It's all relative. I would call you tall, you got 4 inches on me and the tallest woman in my family isn't even 5'2!
