People are so damn exaggerative and serious about everything

I am SICK of it. People are way, way too serious about things. The tiniest hint of racism or sexism seems to cause mass suicide. People these days just can't handle the extreme trauma that they suffer when they hear "indian" instead of "native american" or "black" instead of "african american." What's so good about being an american? It's bad enough that we can't say the N word and similar ones. "Man, that's just wrong, that's just sick," shut the f**k up. Oh my god!

And what's this sh*t about exaggerating? Everywhere I look, people are exaggerating like hell. This isn't limited to racism or sexism, it's with everything. Why do people need to make it so damn obvious when they're being sarcastic? Why do people always rate everything a 2/10 or a 10/10? "It was ok, I give it a 9/10." I can't watch the discovery channel anymore because it's always about explosions and extremes. Why does every narrator have to have such a serious tone? Every movie trailer about anything other than comedy is filled with epic bullsh*t and ridiculous narration from a deep-voiced a**hole. Society is FILLED with sick sexuality,
yet people think that they're fooling others when they talk about how going any further than the missionary position is twisted. People are always suggesting weird sexual things. Women are constantly wearing stupid clothes and strange, impractical shoes without realizing the darker parts of the sexual undertones behind what they're doing. Wearing heels is sexy because it makes women look taller. But what is actually the turn-on? The fact that it makes women look more dominating, the fact that the heels are uncomfortable and make the women fall over from time to time? The fact that they often damage their feet, somewhat like a milder, modern form of foot binding? People are such sexual hypocrites. Can they not see that most of the "sick" fetishes are actually very common in milder forms?
God damnit, I should just pull the trigger.

Of course, I realize the ridiculous amount of hipocrisy going on here. I just don't care about it, not one bit.

    I think you are exaggerating too. And btw, women are attractive in heels because it makes our legs look longer and leaner. And long legs are attractive. Plus they give a woman an air of sophistication.

    Couldn't agree more..
    Well in my country(which is in Europe) we've never had the problems that you did with "black" people. In my language there ISN'T ANY OTHER WORD other than BLACK to describe a colored person. The only other word we have(we don't use the afro-american thing here) is "nigger". Of course there aren't many black people in my country neither did we ever have racism problems. Not only that but the black people here-which are mostly immigrants-are one of the most peaceful type of people unlike other groups of immigrants like Pakistanis or Albanians that sometimes form gangs.

    I agree about sick sexuality. You are perfectly right. Also I didn't know that in the US to call somebody an "Indian" is offensive so thanks for the info! My father had lived in New Work for a year and worked as a teacher and said he had some trust issues there and that he couldn't stand it so he came back to Europe lol.

    WOW. I feel your pain, really I do. the only thing I really take seriously is death. I mean people joke about celebrity deaths and tragic events and that really pisses me off. But I get what you are saying about the movies, racism, sexism. You can't watch anything on NatGeo, or Discovery without someone talking about global warming or some species going extinct. We are just all doomed, I know... The end is near...2012! Pfft Give me a fucking break!
