People appear when you aren't looking.

Is it normal to go months, maybe years without finding anyone you like or likes you in return, and the moment you find someone who you think it'll actually work, and someone you care about and they care back for you, other people keep appearing, claiming they like you and that they want you. It's happened to me countless amounts of times now. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Perhaps when you like someone your mindset is happier and more confident which can make you look more appealing to others.

Lol happens to me all the time! Seems like when you are in a relationship it makes you more atractive to othes. Its really annoying. And the worst thinh is: whenever you get free again, all those admirers disappear! Lol

Before I read the rest of your question, the title caught my eyes. I thought you were either a senile or, a very strange kid that needs to see a psych. Anywhoo, after reading I realized what it was about and I must say, I've experienced a fair share of this as well and it's terribly annoying.

yeh, same here this happens alot. me and my buddies used to go to certain places with wedding rings on. it was amazing to see women throw themselves at you just because you're married XD. it was more experimental than anything, but we proved our theories correct.
