    You are not keeping it clean enough. Wash it everyday with soap and warm water. Make sure to pull the skin back when washing.

    Excessive vigorous masturbation may cause it to go a little raw. Just take it easy and/or use lube.

    Other causes could be STDs or allergies or, as Parrish stated, lack of hygiene.
