I'm a girl and..well. Let me be frank. Penetration doesn't feel "good." Am I weird? It never feels good on it's own there has to be some sort of other stimulation..is it normal?
I'm male so it's impossible to answer from a woman's perspective but what you say sounds about right. If the man just does what feels good to him, it's almost always not everything the woman needs. Men need to do a little extra to make sure she's getting there too.
If he does foreplay beforehand and makes sure you are ready and relaxed, sex can be amazing especially in terms of penetration.
But to me it's not just about the physical side, it's emotional too, being that close and connected to another person, literally, is an amazing feeling and hard to describe imho.
