Is it normal that since I dont like going downstairs in the middle of the night I pee on a towel on my floor then wash it the next morning?
You need to deal with the reason why you don't want to use the bathroom. Sometime when we need to avoid something badly enough strange things suddenly become a viable option eg. peeing on a towel instead of going downstairs.
It's normal if it's become habit. Most people are trained to go to the bathroom when they need a release.
If you really don't like moving from your spot, use a bottle, or a jug. I'm unsure what gender you are. But I know a guy who pisses in a bottle. He even drunk it thinking it was soda once. So it happens.
Anyway, I don't think it's good to piss on a towel and continue to wash it. This way you could simply throw away the jug, and or bottle. Or wash it out. It's easier than a towel I think.

Most normal guys use a bottle. If you're a women... Have you got a funnel? You could probly achive peeing in a bottle anyway without a funnel. Takes some skill though.
I knew a guy who would just pee off the side of his bed in the middle of the night...fucking gross. Don't urinate in ur bedroom...it's just nasty. Why don't u pee before going to bed and try not to drink a bunch of water? Then having to pee won't even wake u up...
1) The urine might soak through the towel.
2) It can end up stinking up your room
3) If you don't drop the habit you may find that you end up doing it when it's not socially acceptable...
You're just nasty unless you're old or disabled I see no reason for you to NOT get up and go down stairs and piss in the toilet like a normal person

I sort of understand. My problem was the only bathroom in the house was near something downstairs I just didn't want to deal with in the middle of the night. I steeled myself & went down anyway. I knew I coudn't get back to sleep if I didn't pee, I needed to get back to sleep. The bathro downstairs was my only option.
Whatever your reason for peeing on towels, STOP doing it. It is definately NOT normal.
this is ridiculous, just go downstairs in the regular bathroom.
If you lay the towel on your floor god knows how disgusting your carpet or whatever must smell like....
that is SO gross! i would never do that!!! omg! just take the trip downstairs! geez! that is so unsanitary! doesnt it stink your room up? sicko!
