Peeing in public restrooms?

Is it normal to be afraid to pee in public restrooms? I always have to pee while there is a louder noise so people won't hear me. I'm afraid people will listen to me peeing and go, "dang, that girls pees an awful lot! She's so gross!" When I was younger I had to get a pickline thing or whatever because they needed to measure when my bladder could tell I had to go pee because then (and even now) my bladder isn't connected properly to my brain yet and can't tell me in time. I am able to hold way more than an adult despite being 14 before my brain tells me to go pee so it normally takes me a full minute to empty my bladder instead of thirty seconds...

Please, does anyone feel the same, and is it normal or should i tell my doctor about this?

    I think it's just an insecurity thing though, i feel embarrassed because I pee for so long...

    I know what you mean. I hate going pee, because my pee makes a loud sound. OTHER PEOPLE'S PEE DOESN'T DO THAT! D:<

    I have to play my music loud so people don't hear me when I go pee in public toilets.

    I cannot pee in public. I just can't do it, I usually wait till the hand dryer comes on or the bathroom is empty... Which can take a while. So glad I'm not alone! (:
