Well you're not alone, I care for the neighborhood pool and I can see that many of the boys do. Really, although it can make the place smell a bit, it's not actually doing any harm. Fungus and molds that cause athletes foot develop on warm, wet locker room floors, so they need to be washed down at night anyway. In your defense, urine is sterile and harmless and the ureaic acid it contains can actually kill or at least stop molds from developing. I'm sure some would find it crude or gross to see you doing so, but there's really no harm in peeing on the floors. Our boys do so, but I've cautioned them not to offend others.
As boys we always did so, as a father I'm more aware of those around me, but if it's just me, the boys or their friends, then yes we piss wherever.
I suppose I can understand you guys being hesitant to do so when employees or strangers are present, but at least at our pool I know that all three of our male lifeguards pee somewhere in the shower or dressing room as they'd turn the opposite direction to go into the restrooms. If it's more convenient for you once or twice a week, imagine them 3 or 4 times a day and having no concern about getting caught. Don't worry about doing it guys, as the poll shows 82% of you pee there.
