Parents driving their kids to school because of pedo paranoia?

It depends on the neighborhood and the age of the children.

It could be or maybe they just want more time with their children.

My parents couldn't even bother to drive us to the bus stop. Even when the school put out a notice about a mysterious 'blue van'. Even after I had to hide under a neighbors porch because someone pulled up beside me and drove past 3 times looking at me.

I watch my kids get on and off the bus everyday. Always will.

Maybe they just want to make sure that their kids aren't playing hookie.

Because it's logical. Not all parents do, but for the ones who do: it's easier to drop your kids off otw to work rather than wait for a bus stop, they know for certain their kid made it to school so it takes away the worry, it's safer than letting them walk (I've seen so many kids who dart out in front of cars w/o looking). My mom always drove me because we usually lived outside of the district of the school i was attending.

What's it to you, OP? You a pedo? Or a kid who is driven to school?

Additionally, driving ones kids to school does not completely protect them from pedos because you never know about the teachers.

Parents these days are complete retards. And so are the school administrators. Not only are parents just completely paranoid and want to make sure that their children have as little fun as possible in the name of safety, but so are the administrators. The parents who aren't complete douches are forced to drive their children to school because other parents and administrators will call child protective services on them for letting the children be outside alone. God I hate our modern world. It makes me fucking sick.

I'll let my kids walk to school. People are so paranoid.
