Hey community, my parents are controlling me, but not like normal parents would do. They are crazy! I can't do what i want in my free time and they even have a programm on my computer, that logs my process list and WLAN connectivity every second!

The most recent event was the following:
My parents litteraly forced me to go on vacation with them, even though i was driving school!

I don't think it's normal anymore. Do you have any tips for me?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, i'm 17.

    It's okay to feel this way. Your feelings are completely valid. Do not feel guilty about them.

    Some parents are fucked. Give them the amount of respect they deserve, but don't give them respect they don't deserve. Have the confidence to always call them out on their bullshit. Move out when you can.

    Take it from someone with lots of years in the real world, this is probably the last time in your life someone is going to pay your room, board, pay for your clothes, medical bills, give you money, etc. in exchange for absolutely nothing in return, except following their rules. Stop being such a spoiled little brat, or move the fuck out!

    Shows they care for you. Sometimes parents can over do it BIG TIME. Just be happy you have parents who love you. Some kids don't have that.
