Painful hicups

Is it normal for hicups to hurt? And to have them last for what seems like forever. I've got them now, and I'm in a lot of pain (most;y my stomach)... and it's been going on for about 25 mins!!!

    25 minutes is LONG to you???
    Try having it for 6 whole hours!!!!! I get severely bad hiccups and they HURT.

    Just hold your breath as long as you can or take a really long drink. lol.

    Sounds like bad gas, which is really painful. Lay down on your stomach. Sounds weird, I know, but it works. You just need to put and maybe burp a few times :) Feel better!

    When I get bad hiccups, they hurt, so I say it's normal.
