Ouchy! shooting pain when i pee, is it uti?

So a few days ago when I finished my period everytime I went to the bathroom right at the last couple of second a shooting pain would go right up my body! It hurts so bad and I don't know what it is! I haven't had sex before so I don't think it is a STD or a STI, but I fit all the symptoms! Should I go to a doctor?

    YES go to the doctor instantly. i just had a UTI and i think my kidneys are messed up now. was it hard to pee? would a lot of pee come out?
