Opinion on obama/ election 2012

It's halfway thru his term in office. Will you be voting for him again, based on how he's done so far, or will you wait and decide?

Yes- He's done enough already to have my vote 38
No- His policies have ruined my chances of voting for him 62
Undecided- It's too early to call. Let's see what else he does 22
Doesn't pertain to me- From another country/ or too young to vote. 27
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

obama isnt bad- but he isnt great. the only major thing he has done was the health bill- and even that turned into a huge comprimise. and yes, he was young and inexperienced, but it was a choice between him and john mccain- a man who, with his old age and already stressful life, probably wouldnt have lived through the presidency, leaving us with sarah- i can see russia from my house- palin. lesser of two eveils, anyone would take an inexperienced young leader with some intelligence over an almost equally experienced leader with the intellegence of a rock. so if republicans can choose someone with some actuall brains and who wont die a few days after becoming president, then the republicans will probably win. with their recent choices for canidates, such as christine O'donnell, howver, victory may be going agian to the dems.

USA get him out. He is not the savior you so badly think you need. Protect your own and stand by your flag. In Englang if we fly our flag we are considered racists.

I love the fact you guys fly your flag. I enjoyed my time in the USA.

  • I know for fact he will win. Because the second Oprah announced that her show was ending her show in 2011 I knew her and Obama were running together for the 2012 election. It's going to be the O-team

He's terrible and incompetent. Have you read his autobiography? He's a committed racist as well. He's ashamed of being part white and values blacks over whites.

Whoa, dude. Next you'll be claiming the that NBA favors blacks over whites. Come on, where's the EVIDENCE?

he won in 2008 for 2 simple reasons.

1 he is black, this is not racist it is the truth. if he had been white with the same policies, utter lack of experience, and ridiculous promises he would not have even been nominated.

2 the average person is stupid. anytime a president is in office during bad economic times they or their party will lose the next election. people think that it is the president/political parties fault for the incredibly complex workings of the market and economy. this is an incredibly stupid idea. and to set things straight with all you fools who still blame bush for the bad economy, i suppose you are either too dumb or young to remember clinton's deregulation bill that was passed right before he left office. this is what caused the crash, giving loans to people who were too stupid and poor to pay it back.

you also didn't have a reasonable choice in your poll. there's no "i'm not voting for him because he is a bad president" option.

Lack of experience is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if it's the "experienced" people who are the ones causing problems.

He didn't win because he was black, he won because he was a democrat.

What if Biden had (somehow) won the nomination? He was a Democrat as well as a terrible choice for VP. Who do you think would have been president: Biden or McCain?

What if it was Howard Dean, what if it was Clinton, what if it was Kuncinich? What if it was Mitt Romney instead of McCain?

..and that's why you select the "No- His policies have ruined my chances of voting for him" choice, moron.

  • He is a RACIST piece of crap! His telling Eric Holder to no longer prosecute crimes against whites from Blacks is unheard of! Then the Black panther thing as well as the Boston Teacher and cop beer summit. Lately calling and congradualting Dog killer Mike Vic, but not calling the family of a recnt fallen soldier killed in Afgan because he is white has ruined it for me. He got in because he was Black and said he would pull us together. He has put bigger walls between us. We are a more racist country because of him, and Socialism isn't for America, if you want to live that way, go to a Socialist country, its Treason! His Love for Muslum terrorist kills me!

He's the first president AFAIK to specifically mention nonbelievers when talking about the different kinds of Americans in his inauguration:

"We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus, and nonbelievers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth."

This is a hell of an improvement over Bush Sr.:

“No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered as patriots. This is one nation under God.”

So yeah, I still support Obama. This is just one reason and not the most consequential, but it is representative of the best about him.

This is ridiculous to even think about since I have no idea who the other options are. So far the choices are grim. And I'm not foolish enough to think that the Obama actually gets to make decisions all by himself.

I don't ever say who I'm voting for, before I know the canidates. If I like Obama, I'll vote for him again. If I like th other guy, I'll vote for him. IF I hate both, I'll vote for the one who I hate less.

Voted for him in 2008. My first presidential vote ever.

Then he didn't close Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay) and treats questions on medical marijuana like jokes.

Torture and health care are big on my issues and he didn't do well enough in either to get my vote again (I don't mind the health care bill I mean the marijuana medicine)

Congress stepped in and passed a law legally barring him from closing Gitmo before he could close it.
