Open relationships always lead to fights.

There's a good reason humans try to find one person to partner up with and stay with them for life:it's simple math. There's not going to be anybody to mate with if a guy has 100 wives and another says he's friends with benifits with thousands throughout the country. It's so unbelievably selfish, and sooner or later it'll lead to guys killing each other. Am I right about monogamy(1 person dating 1 person only) being the best way?

I don't think it has to be that way. My relationship is a poly family and we all get along very well.

That's because you're monogamous. As one monogamous to another, I agree, one partner is ideal. It feels natural that way.

However, just because poly isn't your thing, doesn't make it any lesser, because it'll make you no different from people who downplay monogamy by saying, "Humans aren't suppose to be monogamous."

it IS lesser because it ruins lives and people get so jealous that they kill each other over it. the porn industry is full of poly relationships and it's a nightmare for everybody. Having a husband stand there and watch while you fuck his wife on camera and then get mad at you for flirting with her on the phone is what happens in "open marriages" it's so fucking weird and stupid. They still feel like they have the right to be jealous of guys the wife likes and start fights with him, even though it's his own fault.

There are different ways to go about a poly-relationship. However, you're oddly specific on which type pisses you off. Personal experience?

How about if the same number of women have 100 husbands? Horrible thought for me as a woman, but your maths are just ridiculous.

If you think monogamy works, look around .... it just doesn't most of the time.
